Jessica Chobot was born on July 7, 1977, in Buffalo, New York. She had a pretty unsettled life in her young days. She got interested in video games from an early age. Subsequently, her gaming interests focused on role-playing games.
During her college days, she entered a gaming group. After leaving college, Jessica tried to work in a regular job for a few years. But when games like Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft, she was back to gaming. Jessica moved to Japan following her love for gaming. But she could land a nice job there. So, Jessica had to come back to the US. Back home, Jessica acquired a certificate to teach art education and also did a minor in literature. She also did a minor in character designing for
video games.
After her grads, Jessica worked at EB Games. Jessica Chobot also began modeling in the meantime. She also took a photo in 2005 which featured her with a PSP. She sent her photo to Kotaku.com and they posted her picture on the site. Following the buzz created from this little publicity, she got an offer for giving game reviews on RedAssedBaboon.com. Later that year, she worked as a temporarily for the Insider channel.
Jessica moved to California when she got the chance to present the show IGN Weekly. Among the other jobs she got were that of a game advisor on The Daily Habit and as a columnist for Babes channel of IGN. She is also heard on Maxim Radio. Apart from this she also reported for Championship Gaming Invitational.
