Biography and Career :

She studied at the Belmont High School, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and the Stephens College, in Columbia, Missouri. One of her first roles was in "The Fabulous Baker Boys".

In 1994 she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role in Woody Allen's "Bullets Over Broadway". She appeared in other movies like "The Getaway", "Bound", "Liar Liar", "Child's Play", "Seed of Chucky", "Family Guy", "Hey Arnold", "Stuart Little", "Out of Practice" and "Home on the Range".

Between 1984 and 1991 she was married to Sam Simon. She had a relationship and was engaged to Lou Diamond Philli ps, an actor.

She was the winner of Theater World Award for Most Promising Newcomer. She likes playing poker and won a World Series of Poker bracelet and $158,625 in the Ladies' No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em event in 2005. The next year she was seen on the Celebrity Poker Showdown.

She is a great woman, talented, charming and smart and she had worked a lot to achieve what she has today.
