Jennifer Jason Leigh (birth name Jennifer Lee Morrow) was born on February 5, 1962 in Hollywood, California, USA. She is an actress who was seen in more than seventy films.

Biography and Career :

Vic Morrow and Barbara Turner are her parents and they are both actors. Unfortunately he died in an accident on the set in 1983.

Until the 1990's she appeared in "Flesh & Blood", "The Hitcher" or "Heart of Midnight". Then she was seen in "Last Exit to Brooklyn", "Miami Blues", "Rush", "Single White Female", "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle", "The Hudsucker Proxy", "Short Cuts", "Dolores Claiborne", "Washington Square", "The Anniversary Party", "Road to Perdition", "In the Cut", "The Machinist" and others.

On September 3, 2005 she married Noah Baumbach. In 1990 she was the win ner of two Critic Society awards. After ten years she was one of the jury’s members at the Venice Film Festival.

She received many awards including Genie Award for Best Performance, National Society of Film Critics for Best Actress, Golden Globe Award Special Award for Best Ensemble Cast, New York Film Critics Circle for Best Supporting Actress or Boston Society of Film Critics for Best Supporting Actress.

She is a great and beautiful woman and she will continue having a successful career many years from now on.
