Jennifer Hawkins was born on December 22, 1983 in Newcastle, Australia. She is the winner of 2004 Miss Universe.

Biography and Career :

She used to be a cheerleader for the Newcastle Knights rugby league team, and the Hunter Pirates basketball teams.

Jennifer Hawkins decided to be a model and after a period of time she was cast to be Miss Australia and represented her country at the Miss Universe competition.

After she became Miss Universe she had the opportunity to travel to The Bahamas, Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Singapore, Indonesia, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, India, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Thailand. During her reign she lived in New York and decided she wanted to be a television star.

Jennifer Hawkins signed a contract with the Sev en Network at the 2004 Melbourne Cup Carnival and was chosen to be the guest presenter of The Great Outdoors.

In May 2005 Jennifer was signed by personal hygiene and skincare brand Lux as its face of Australia and New Zealand.

She also participated in the fourth season of Australia's Dancing with the Stars in 2006 and in multiple episodes of The Apprentice with Donald Trump and became ambassador for Grand Waterfront.

On the 15th of February 2006 she took part in a celebrity version of Deal or No Deal called Dancing with the Deal.
