Jennifer Esposito was born April 11, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York. Jennifer Esposito made her first appearance in Law & Order in 1990 in various small roles, but she is best known as Stacey in the prime time hit Spin City.
Her dreams of becoming an actress were present from day one, and led her to enroll at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. Though Jennifer Esposito found bit parts every so often, bigger roles were hard to come by in the beginning, and so to make ends meet, Esposito worked as a waitress.
Jennifer Esposito is no stranger to television, where she enjoyed a recurring
role on the series New York Undercover and in 1996 gained favorable notice as Stacey Paterno, the spunky Brooklyn-born, Italian-American mayoral secretary in Spin City.
Jennifer Esposito can also be seen in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer playing the role of Nancy. One of her more recent successes was her role as Ruby in Spike Lee's controversial Summer of Sam in 1999. Set against the mid-Seventies backdrop of the Son of Sam murders, the film also starred John Leguizamo and Mira Sorvino.
Jennifer Esposito's next film was Wes Craven Presents: Dracula 2000 with Johnny Lee Miller, Christopher Plummer and Omar Epps.
