Jay Chou is a famous Taiwanese singer. He grew up in Linkou, Taipei, Taiwan. Chou started taking piano lessons when he was three years old. He plays the piano, violin, cello, guitar, drum, guzheng, erhu, pipa, harmonica, bass guitar, and keyboard.

He writes his own songs, and has written songs for other c-pop artists, including the song Chu Dian by: S.H.E. He also composes for other artists like Coco Lee, Jolin Tsai, Lee-Hom, Vivian Hsu, etc.
He has also directed the movie "Secret" which he starred in.
