Jason Lee (full name Jason Michael Lee) was born on April 25, 1970 in Orange, California, USA. He is an actor.

Biography and Career :

He studied at the Ocean View High School but renounced because he wanted to be a professional skate boarder. His career as an actor began with minor roles and an appearance in 1992 in Sonic Youth music video for "100%". He became famous after the role in "Mallrats" in 1995.

Then he was seen in "Chasing Amy", "Dogma", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", "Jersey Girl" and "Clerks II", all of them directed by Kevin Smith. Other roles he got were in "Heartbreakers", "Stealing Harvard", "A Guy Thing", Vanilla Sky", "Almost Famous", "Dreamcatcher", "Big Trouble", "The Ballad of Jack and Rose" and "Mumford".

He landed his voice for one of the chara cters in "The Incredibles", "Disney Presents Pixar's The Incredibles in a Magic Kingdom Adventure" or "Underdog". In 2005 he received the lead role in the television sitcom "My Name Is Earl" and became even more popular and successful.

In July 1995 he married Carmen Llywelyn. In July 2001 the couple got divorced. He owns Stereo manufacturing Corp, which is a Skateboard company. During the years he won many awards including an Independent Spirit Award for the role in "Chasing Amy".
