January Jones was born on January 5, 1978, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She worked part time at Dairy Queen while she was in high school. Eventually, January’s career ambitions changed to modelling and she shifted to New York when she came of age.
January Jones got her first big modelling gigs with Clearasil and Abercrombie & Fitch. But owing to some problems in her modelling career, January began acting. Her first movie was All the Rage (1999) and then The Glass House, Bandits and Full Frontal.
January Jones did a number of movies in 2003. They included Anger Managemen, American Wedding and Love Actually. Out of these, she considers American Wedding to be her biggest success. She also acted in the movies We Are Mars
