Jamie Walters, an American actor, singer, and record producer, was born on Friday, June 13, 1969 in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is best known for his acting roles in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210 and The Heights and also for his number one single "How Do You Talk to an Angel?".
Biography and Career:
Walter studied film at the University of New York. His first public appearance was a commercial for the commercial for Levi's jeans. His first film was the 1991 film Shout. Walters performed in a song in the film soundtrack album.
Jamie was cast as the lead role for the Fox series The Heights, in which he sang the title song "How Do You Talk to an Angel?." which became the number one single on November 14, 1992 beating Boyz II Men's "End of the Road" . The
single was also nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Individual Achievement in Music and Lyrics".
On September 20, 1994, his debut album Jamie Walters is released and the single "Hold On" reached to the number 16 spot on Billboard Hot 100 and the album sold over 1 million copies and it was certified platinum. Jamie released his second album 'Ride' in 1997 and is certified gold.
Jamie pursued training, certification and started working with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and now is working as a full time firefighter. He is focusing on family and also to his work as a firefighter but he still wants to get back to music and acting in near future. Walters got married to Patty Walters, they have three children.
