Biography and Career :
Her parents' names are Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. She studied at the Choate Rosemary Hall private school and the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. At the University she had spent only one semester because she decided she wants to be an actress and pursued her dream.
In 1978 she debuted as an actress in "Halloween". Other movies she appeared in are "The Fog", "Prom Night", "A Fish Called Wanda" or "Freaky Friday. During the years she was seen in more than sixty movies and television series.
On December 18, 1984 she married Christopher Guest. The couple has adopted two children. In 1992 she was in the jury at t
he Cannes Film Festival. Besides being an actress she is an author and writes book for children.
During her career she had won many awards including two Golden Globe Awards and an Emmy Award nomination. In 1998 she released the book "Today I Feel Silly, and Other Moods That Make My Day", and this became a bestseller.
