
James Purefoy (birth name James Brian Mark Purefoy) was born on June 3, 1964 in Taunton, Somerset, England, UK. He is a well known and talented actor.
Biography and Career :
At sixteen years old he finished school and decide to start working. One of his jobs was as a porter at Yeovil District Hospital. Then he started traveling through Europe. In 1982 he started school again and went to collage. He got a Drama diploma. He began taking acting course at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
In his first appearances he played in "Romeo and Juliet", "Mary Morgan" or "Equus". Since 1988 he entered the Royal Shakespeare Company and was seen in "The Constant Couple", "Macbeth", "The Tempest", "The Man Who Came to Dinner", "Hamlet" and "King Lear".
In 1997 he played in "A Danc
e to the Music of Time" for Channel 4 and besides that in "Sharpe's Sword", "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall", "The Prince and the Pauper", "The Mayor of Casterbridge", "Blackbeard: Terror at Sea", "Beau Brummell: This Charming Man" and "Rome".
He was married to Holly Aird, but in May 202 they divorced. They have one child, Joseph, who was born in 1997. Other romantic relationships he had had until now (2007) were with Gwyneth Paltrow, Piper Perabo and Fay Ripley.
He is very talented and has many supporters, especially in the United Kingdom. He has become a popular and famous actor and there’s no doubt he will continue having huge success.
