He studied at the Park Ridge High School, Park Ridge, New Jersey and Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The role of Tony Soprano in the hit HBO TV series "The Sopranos" made him a famous and popular actor all over the world.
His career started on Broadway and after he became a film actor. He was seen in movies like "True Romance", "Terminal Velocity", "The Juror", "Get Shorty" or "Fallen". The role as Tony Soprano brought him three Emmys for "Best Actor in a Drama".
