James Bond or James Bond 007 was born on April 13, 1968 in Glencoe, Scotland. He is a fictional British agent, creation of writer Ian Fleming.
Biography and Career :
Ian Fleming died in 1964 and authors like Kingsley Amis, John Pearson, John Gardner, Raymond Benson, Charlie Higson or Sebastian Faulks continued writing about this interesting character.
The EON Productions film series made him a famous character all over the world. He is a British Secret Intelligence Service and his name was created after the names of an American ornithologist, a Caribbean bird expert and author of the definitive field guide book "Birds of the West Indies".
His parents' names are Andrew Bond and Monique Delacroix. They come from a Scotsman and Canton de Vaud, Switzerland. He likes eating s
crambled eggs and drink coffee and his habits are drinking, smoking, wearing short-sleeve shirts.
Until now (2007) six actors played the role of Bond: Sean Connery between 1962 and 1967 and in 1971, George Lazenby in 1969, Roger Moore between 1973 and 1985, Timothy Dalton between 1987 and 1989, Pierce Brosnan between 1995 and 2002 and Daniel Craig since 2006.
During the years the films were very successful and placed on high position in Box Office. There were also created comic strips and books, radio and television programs and the "James Bond Theme" was written by Monty Norman.
In 1983 appeared the first video game and the last until now will appear in 2008. The character has a great car with good equipment which helps him very much.
