John Young Stewart (born in 1939) is a former Scottish motor-racing driver.

Short Biography:

Until surpassed by Alain OProst (France) in 1987, Stewart held the record for the most Formula One Grand Prix wins (27).

His first win was in 1965. He was world champion three times and with manufacturer Ken Tyrrell, built up one of the sport's great partnerships. His last race was the 1973 Canadian Grand Prix. He pulled out of the next race (which would have been his 100th) because of the death of his team-mate Francois Cevert.
