
Jack Johnson was born on May 18, 1975 in Oahu, Hawaii, USA. He is a musician, film maker and former professional surfer.
Biography and Career :
He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara where majored in Math and Fine Art. He sings the guitar, ukulele and piano and the genres she sings are Surf music, Acoustic, Folk and Soft Rock.
His father's best friend Alex Conell taught him to surf. He became a professional surfer but ended his career after an accident when he lost in his front teeth were knocked out and he received more than 150 stitches to his mouth.
In 2001 he released his debut album, "Brushfire Fairytales". Besides this he released another four: "On and On", "In Between Dreams", "Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George" and "Sleepi
ng Through The Static".
Some of his most popular singles are "Flake", "The Horizon Has Been Defeated", "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing", "Good People", "Better Together", "Breakdown" or "Upside Down".
In 2005 he released two DVDs, "Jack Johnson: Live in Japan" and "Jack Johnson: A Weekend at the Greek". He is very talented, performed at several festivals and went on many tours. His fans can’t wait to see his next projects and support him very much.
