
Jack Black (full name Thomas Jack Black) was born on August 28, 1969 in Hermosa Beach, California, USA. He is a famous comedian, actor and musician.
Biography and Career :
He is one of the members of Tenacious D, which is a comedy and rock group, and had attended the Poseidon School in Santa Monica, California. His parents got divorced in 1979. They are rocket scientists and their names are Judith Cohen and Thomas Jack Black, Sr.
When he was very young he was seen in an Atari Pitfall! commercial. He was seen in shows like "The Golden Palace", "Life Goes On", "The X-Files", "Northern Exposure" and "Picket Fences ". One of the roles he is famous for is in "High Fidelity" as Barry.
In 2006 he hosted Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. He appeared in many movies until now (2007)
, more than seventy, and is a great actor and comedian. Regarding Tenacious D, the other member of the group is Kyle Gass. The two are famous all over the world and have successful singles and albums.
During the years he appeared at many television shows including "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". On March 14, 2006 he married Tanya Haden. The couple has one child, Samuel who was born in June 2006. He and Sarah Michelle Gellar were the hosts of 2002 MTV Movie Awards.
