She finished her studies at Choate Rosemary Hall and Chapin. After that she went to Georgetown University, and transferred to Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2004.

She joined the fashion world as a model at the age of 16 because her mother wanted her to work for money, not only receive it in an easy way.
