Ivan Navarro Pastor was born on October 19, 1981 in Alicante, Spain. He is a professional tennis player.

Biography and Career :

He was only four years old when he started playing tennis for the first time. In 2001 he became a professional tennis player. Israel Sevilla, his coach, is the man who goes with him at all the tournaments and helps him with his training.

On June 11, 2007 he was ranked on the 90th position in Top 100. This is the highest position he has ever achieved. Even though he hasn't won any single or doubles ATP tournaments he earned approximately three thousand hundred dollars from playing tennis.

His family supports him. His mother is a teacher and his father is working in a factory. At three of the four Grand Slam tournaments he hasn't participated yet (2007), the Australian Open, French Open and US Open.

In 2004 he played at Wimbledon in the first round but after this he was eliminated. At the tournament in Valencia in 2007 he was one of the semi-finalists. He also was a semi-finalist at the Challengers in Barletta and Prague in 2007.

As a doubles player he and Nicholas Almagro reached the semi-finals of the tournament in Kitzbuhel in 2007. He is talented and his career started not long time ago. He still has a lot of time to show his talent and win many titles.
