Isla Fisher (full name Isla Lang Fisher) was born on February 3, 1976 in Muscat, Oman. She is an Australian actress and author.
Biography and Career :
Around the year 1980 her family moved to Australia so she spent most of her childhood there. Her father is a banker and the family has another four children.
When she was only 9 years old she was starring in television commercials and in 1993 she had a role in "Bay City". She continued with a role in "Paradise Beach" the same year. Other important roles for her were in the soap-opera "Home and Away", "Wedding Crashers", "Scooby-Doo", "London" and "Oliver Twist".
She is a writer too and published "Seduced By Fame" and "Bewitched".
In 1997 and 2003 was among the "100 Sexiest Women in the World", on the 35th place and 26th
place. In 2005 at the MTV Movie Awards she won an award at the Breakthrough Performance category.
Her fiancé is famous actor Sacha Baron Cohen. She changed her religion in order to get married to him.
