Irina Lazareanu is a Romanian super model who went to Canada where she pursued her career. She was born in Romania in 1982 on June 8th. She stayed in Canada till she was 5 years old after which she moved to Canada.
Career:
She and her parents were comfortable in suburban area in Montreal of Saint Hubert which is in Quebec. Irina started to learn ballet when she was thirteen years old. However she had to discontinue when she injured her knee. She came into the modeling world due to her socials contacts and relations with the British super model Kate Moss.
When Irina turned seventeen she signed a contract with Giovanni modeling agency, which was based in Montreal, on the hopes that she could earn for her livelihood.
She often appeared in various fashion shows in Paris, M
ilan and London. However her breakthrough in modeling industry was when she was chosen by Kate Moss to be featured on the cover page for the prestigious Vogue magazine’s issue. Due to her this work she was chosen by fashionistas and she has become a very well known model after that. She even set a new record for doing the maximum number of fashion shows in one season. She is linked with some top level brand names and some very affluent modeling agency. Kate Moss launched her own clothing brand in 2007 for which Irina modeled. She came as a guest judge and to coach the girls in 2009’s Canada’s Next Top Model. She appeared for advertising in Hobbs Spring Summer 2010.
Except from being a model Irina shares her interest in music too. Her interest in music was first shared with her by Pete Doherty when she attended ballet school in London. As of now she has recorded her own folk music album which is produced and collaborated by Sean Lennon. It is called Some Place Along the Way. She was all set to play with Pete, Sean, Charlotte and Adam for a benefit concert in New York. However Pete was denied entry into United States and they had to perform without him.
