Ionut Iftimoaie was born on August 26, 1978 in Comanesti, Bacau, Romania. He is a famous K1 fighter from Romania.

Biography and Career :

Ionut Iftimoaie left Romania when he was 18 years old. He decided to take his life in his hands in Italy. Before starting to train and have official fights, Ionut used to work like a house builder.

Ionut has a small daughter named Lisa and he says she is the most important thing in his life and loves her very much.

Ionut Iftimoaie discovered his passion for martial arts while still a kid when watching Bruce Lee's movies. He first entered the ring in 1977 and in 2001 he had his first official fight in K1, Italy under the name of Ivan Drago.

He got married in 2006 and his wife's name is Maria Placinta. She works as a model and she also participated to Miss Romania contest where she was bronze awarded

Ionut Iftimoaie has a big passion for dancing and in 2006 he accepted the proposal to join a TV contest on Pro Tv named : "Dansez Pentru Tine" (Dancing for You - English Title), for charity purposes.

Unfortunately Ionut Iftimoaie decided to quit fighting in 2006.
