Inga Hammond is a famous sports journalist who joined the Golf Channel in 2007. Hammond is a graduate of Indiana University and she received a degree in journalism and political science. Hammond started her sports career in 1995 at KNXV-TV, the ABC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona.

She spent the last three years as a reporter and anchor for PGA TOUR. Her resume includes hosting NBC's Olympic coverage on Bravo during the 2004 Athens games and working as an anchor and reporter for FOX Sports in Los Angeles since 2002. Prior to that stint, she worked as an anchor and reporter for CNN Sports and CNN/Sports Illustrated, beginning in 1996.
