Biography and Career :
When he was a child he took piano lessons. He studied at the Oxford University and got a degree in English. Besides being an actor he is a producer too. In 1994 and 1999 had a great success as an actor and became very popular for his roles in "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Notting Hill". He is also famous for the role in "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason".
Other roles he had had until now (2007) were in movies like "The Lair of the White Worm", "The Remains of the Day", "Impromptu", "Bridget Jones' Diary", "About A Boy" and "American Dreamz".
He is very talented and the Golden Globe Award won proves that. In 1995 h
e was involved in a scandal and was arrested for misdemeanor lewd conduct in a public place with a Hollywood prostitute.
Between 1987 and 2000 he had a relationship with actress Elizabeth Hurley. He had a three years relationship with Jemima Khan, but in 2007 the couple broke up. His fans are all over the world and many women love his English accent and hair.
He is a great person, besides being a great actor, and during the years has shown us all what he is capable of.
