Hidetoshi Nakata was born on January 22, 1977 in Yamanashi, Japan. He is a former football player.
Biography and Career :
Since 1986 he played football for Hokushin Boys Soccer Club, in 1982 went to Kofu Kita Jr. H.S. and in 1992 to Nirasaki H.S. In 1995 he became a professional football player and was transferred to Bellmare Hiratsuka. In 85 games he scored 16 times.
Between 1998 and 2000 he was the player of Perugia and it was his first time in Italy. It was a great period for him and he scored twelve goals in 48 matches. He continued playing in Italy and in 2000 became the player of AS Roma. He stayed there one season and scored five times.
Between 2001 and 2004 he played at Parma, then was transferred to Bologna and Fiorentina. The season 2005-06 was spent in England
at Bolton Wanderers. He played in a total of 289 matches and scored 41 games.
Between 1997 and 2006 he helped his national team, Japan and played at the 1998, 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cup. In 2001 he was the champion along Roma and next year won the Coppa Italia with Parma.
He likes dying his hair, wear designer clothes and attend runway shows.
