Henry Kissinger (full name Heinz Alfred Kissinger) was born on May 27, 1923 in Fi¼rth, Germany. He is a politician and also winner of Nobel Peace Prize.
Biography and Career :
He studied at the Harvard University and graduated "summa cum laude". Between 1969 and 1975 he worked as U.S. National Security Adviser and between 1973 and 1977 as U.S. Secretary of State. In 1971 after he had a discussion with Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai he convinced him to form a new strategic anti-Soviet Sino-American alliance.
Among his many awards are the Guggenheim Fellowship, the International Platform Association Theodore Roosevelt Award, the Woodrow
Wilson Prize for the best book in the fields of government, politics and international affairs, the American Institute for Public Service Award, the Hope Award for International Understanding and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Dwight D. Eisenhower Distinguished Service Medal. In 1973 he was awarded with the Nobel Prize for Peace. In 2005 he received the "Bayerischer Verdienstorden", which is the highest Bavarian state decoration.
On February 6, 1949 he married Ann Fleisher. They have two children, Elizabeth and David, but got divorced in 1964. In March 1974 he married Nancy Maginnes. He is a great man, intelligent and courageous and has tried to do his best for his nation.
