Helena Bonham Carter was born on May 26, 1966 in Golders Green, London, England, UK. She is a talented actress.

Biography and Career :

H.H. Asquith, her great-grandfather was a British Prime Minister between 1908 and 1916. In 1979 she was the winner of a national writing contest. This is how her career started. At sixteen years old she appeared in television commercials.

In 1983 she had a role in "A Pattern of Roses" and next year got the starring role in "Lady Jane". The roles in "A Room with a View", "Howards End" and "Fight Club" made her a famous and popular actress. Other movies in which she appeared are "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Corpse Bride", "Big Fish", "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". Amon g many recognitions, she also received an Acadamy Award nomination. In 2006 she was part of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival.

Between 1994 and 1999 she had lived with Kenneth Branagh. Then, she and boyfriend Tim Burton had a baby boy, Billy Ray, in October 2003 and announced are expecting the second in 2007.
