Helena Bonham was born on May 26, 1966 in Golders Green, London, England. She is a famous actress. Helena is not a trained actress. She won the National writing Contest in 1979, which led her to step into the 'Spotlight'.
At the age of 16, she made her first appearance in a commercial add. In 1983 she made a debut performance as a guest in the TV film , "Pattern of Roses". She came into the spotlight right after her role as Lucy Honeychurch in the movie, "A Room with a View", aired in 1985. Helena also appeared in TV serial, "Miami Vice", as Don Johnson's love interest, during the episodes from 1986-87.
After that she stepped into the movies more portraying women of early 20th century, especially for Merchant-Ivory films. Besides limiting herself to these type of movies, she played
several other roles in TV films like: " Fight Club", "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit", and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Corpse Bride", "Big Fish", and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street".
She is the great grand daughter of Britannic former Prime Minister, "H. H Asquith".
