Biography and Career :
She studied at the Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, California and the University of California, Los Angeles. At first she appeared in commercials and advertisements and then became a soap opera and television series actress.
In 1979 she started her acting career and appeared in "Dynasty" and "Eight Is Enough". She became famous worldwide for the role as Amanda Woodward in "Melrose Place". From then on she was recognized everywhere on the street, paparazzi were assaulting her and she couldn't make a step without being noticed.
She was also seen in movies like "The Big Slice", "Money Talks", "Dou
ble Tap", "Uptown Girls", "The Perfect Man", "Looney Tunes: Back in Action", "Nora Roberts' Angels Fall" or "Oranges".
On May 10, 1986 she married Tommy Lee, but in 1993 they divorced. In December 1994 she remarried, this time to Richie Sambora. They have a child, Ava Elizabeth and in April 2007 they got divorced.
