Biography and Career :

Her mother is Susan Duff. She is a film producer. She appeared in television series and movies like "Lizzie McGuire", "That's So Raven", "Joan of Arcadia", "American Dreams", "Boston Public" and "Chicago Hope". Fame and popularity came in 2004 with the movie "Napoleon Dynamite". Then she got a role in the television series "7th Heaven" and soon conquered the hearts of many people. In 2006 she was seen in "Hairspray" and "Material Girls".

She had helped her sister with the first album and co-wrote several songs. This wasn't the only time she had helped; she was also involved on "Hilary Duff" in 2004 and "Dignity" in 2007. She appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine. Along her sister, she is one of the E!'s "Favorite Famous Sisters". Some of her most famous singles are "Same Old Christmas", "What Dreams are Made of" and "The Siamese Cat Song" with Hilary.

She also created songs used as soundtracks for movies like "The Lizzie McGuire Movie", "Raising Helen", "A Cinderella Story" or "Material Girls".
