Stephen Grover Cleveland was the 24th President of the United States and his presidency period started from 1893 and ended at 1897. He was the first President of the United States who served two non-consecutive terms. Grover Cleveland was the first president who left the White House and came back for 2nd term after four years.
He had four sisters and four brothers and he was ninth one. The name Stephen Grover assigned him due to the first pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell. But in professional and adult life he did not use the name "Stephen". His father was pastor there.

r when he entered the White House but very soon he got married with Frances Folsom in the Blue Room in the White House, daughter of his friend Oscar Folsom. Cleveland was the 2nd president who married in office time and in White House.
He was working as lawyer in Buffalo. After becoming lawyer he began work with Roger Firms but after some years in 1862, he left the Roger Firm and started his own Practice. Government of Erie County appointed him as assistant district attorney of Erie County in January 1863. He and his friend Oscar Folsom protected the Democratic nomination for sheriff of Erie County and at the age 33 years he was chosen as sheriff by a 303-vote margin. He joined office on January 1, 1871.
The most famous job, he done in his presidency was the punishment of a murderer (Patrick Morrissey) on September 6, 1872. After his sheriff term he opened a law firm with his friends Lyman K. Bass and Wilson S. Bissell but Bass left the Law firm after spending some time and elected in Congress in 1873. Cleveland and Bissell got popularity and at last reached at the top of Buffalo's legal community.
