
Gregory “Greg” Kinnear was born on June 17, 1963 in Logansport, Indiana, U.S. He is an American actor and television personality.
Greg is the son of Suzanne, and Edward Kinnear, a career diplomat who worked for the U.S. State Department. His first venture into the role of talk show was while still a student at the American Community Schools in Athens. Upon returning to the U.S. for a college education, he attended the University of Arizona, and graduated in 1985 with a degree in broadcast journalism.
He hosted a short-lived game show, College Mad House. Later on, he would later become the creator, co-executive producer, and host of Best of the Worst, show which aired from 1990 to 1991. In 1991, he became the first host of Talk Soup; Kinnear hosted until 1995, when he left the sh
ow for the NBC well known talk show, Later with Greg Kinnear.
As for his Film roles, in 1994 Kinnear had his first big screen role, as a talk show host yet again in the Damon Wayans comedy Blankman. He then won the part of David Larrabee in Sydney Pollack's remake of Billy Wilder's 1954 classic Sabrina. Later on he played the lead role in the 1996 comedy Dear God.
Kinnear co-starred in 2006, with Steve Carell in the Oscar-winning comedy-drama Little Miss Sunshine, and with Mark Wahlberg in Invincible. Kinnear had a main role in Fast Food Nation, playing a fast food executive who suddenly discovers secrets about his company. Two years after he starred in the movie Flash of Genius, a documentary-drama about Robert Kearns.
