Glenn Close was born on the 19th of March 1947 in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA and is one of the most famous actresses in the acting world.
Biography and Career :
In 1960 her father opened a clinic in Zaire and because of this she spent part of her childhood in Africa.
She had attending the College of William & Mary.
Two of the roles that made her popular were in "Dangerous Liaisons" and "Fatal Attraction".
She received nominations for 5 Academy Awards, for Best Actress in "Dangerous Liaisons" and "Fatal Attraction" and for Best Supporting Actress in "The Natural", "The Big Chill" and "The World According to Garp".
Other roles she had were in movies like "Reversal of Fortune", "Sarah, Plain and Tall", "Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story", "The Paper, Mars
Attacks!", "101 Dalmatians", "102 Dalmatians" and "Air Force One".
On the 22nd of November 1969 she married Cabot Wade, but in 1971 the couple got divorced.
Between 1984 and 1987 she was married to James Marlas.
On the 3rd of February 2006 she remarried, this time to David Shaw.
She has a daughter, Annie Maude Starke, with John Starke.
With her talent she became a famous actress and during the years won many awards including the Emmy Award and three Tony Awards.
