Geri Halliwell (birth name Geraldine Estelle Halliwell) was born on August 6, 1972 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, UK. She was a member of the famous group Spice Girls, and now she is a singer, writer and television personality.
Biography and Career :
When her father had her he was fifty years old. She studied at the Callowland Infant School and Watford Grammar School for Girls.
Before achieving success along the Spice Girls she was a dancer in a nightclub in Mallorca, a model and presenter on the Turkish version of "Let's Make a Deal". She became famous as a Spice Girls member and in May 1998 she decided to leave the band and start a solo career.
In the next year she released her debut solo album, "Schizophonic". Besides this she released another two more: "Scream I
f You Wanna Go Faster" and "Passion". Some of her solo singles are "Look at Me", "Lift Me Up", "It's Raining Men", "Calling" or "Ride It".
She also had a great success as a solo artist and sold over 4.5 million albums. With her sexy look, talent and brain she succeeded in having a wonderful career. Her fans are numerous and we are sure they are eager to see or listen to her new projects.
She wrote her autobiography called "If Only...". Now (2007) she is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations. In May 2006 she gave birth to her child, Bluebell Madonna Halliwell.
