Gerard Butler (full name Gerard James Butler) was born on November 13, 1969 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He is a great actor.

Biography and Career :

He spent part of his childhood in Paisley, Scotland and studied at the Glasgow University. In 1997 he had his first role and it was happening in "Mrs. Brown".

The roles that made him a famous and popular actor were King Leonidas in "300" and The Phantom in "The Phantom of the Opera" 2004. He was also seen in "Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married", "The Cherry Orchard", "One More Kiss", "Harrison’s Flowers", "Attila", "Dracula 2000", "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" or "The Game of Their Lives".

For his lead role in "300" he was the winner of awards like "Action Star of the Year" at the Taurus World Stunt Awards and "Biggest Ass Ki cker" at the 2007 Spike TV Guys' Choice Awards. In 2007 he has the role of Gerry Kennedy in "PS, I Love You".

His future projects include roles in "RocknRolla", "Nim's Island", "The Untouchables: Capone Rising" and "Game". With his talent, charm and intelligence he will continue having a successful career.
