Gerald Ford Gerald R Ford (full name Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr.) was born on Monday, July 14, 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. He is the 38th President of the United States.

Biography and Career:

Gerald R Ford spent his childhood in Grand Rapids. He was fond of football and with the completion of Low degree also took part in football as a player from Michigan University team. After this energetic period of his life he went to Yale and offered his services as assistant coach of football.

Gerald R Ford was given the rank of lieutenant during world war and at the end started his career as lawyer. He also showed his interest in politics and in 1948 he got married to Elizabeth Bloomer before few weeks his election to congress. They had 4 children.

Gerald R Ford was made president Upon R Nixon resign from office in 1974. When he became president, his first preference was to reduce the tension and to clam the controversies created by the Nixon's government and gradually appointed his own Cabinet. In the office, Gerald R Ford tried to establish his agendas his first preference was to curb inflation economy to overcome the serious problem recession.

In first 14 months he voted 39 measures which were sustained later on. Ford showed and expressed himself as a conservative in fiscal, Moderate in affairs His major goal was to create an environment where business can be operated freely. His major goal was to stop and prevent war I Middle East He was strongly the 1is president of U.S who was never elected as president and Vice President.
