Gareth Edwards (born in 1947) is a Welsh rugby union player. He was appointed captain of his country when only 20 years old.Short Biography:
He appeared in seven championship winning teams, five Triple Crown winning teams, and two Grand Slam winning teams.
In 53 international matches he scored a record 20 tries. He toured with the British Lions three times.
