Biography and Career :
Her parents are Maria Claire and Axel and she has six older siblings. Their parents divorced and she went with her mother to Massachusetts. She attended classes at a boarding school and when she was 16 she moved again, this time to Miami. After only one year she went to New York because she wanted to be a fashion model and an actress. She signed a contract with Ford Models Agency. She appeared in commercials for Avon, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Clairol, in catalogues for Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, in Essence and Ebony magazine. Two big names in the fashion industry for whom she modeled for are Calvin Klein and Isaac Mizrahi.
In 2001 she married Mike Ni
lon. Before that she had been married to Daniel Saunders and they have one son, Oliver, born in 1992.
