Frederick Austerlitz (1899-1987) was an American dancer, actor, singer, and choreographer, who starred in numerous films, including "Top Hat" in 1935, "Easter Parade" in 1948, and "Funny Face" in 1957, many of which contained inventive sequences he designed himself.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he danced in partnership with his sister Adele (1898-1981) from 1904 until her marriage in 1932.
He entered films in 1933. Among his many other films are "Roberta" in 1935 and "Follow the Fleet" in 1936.
