Forest Whitaker (Forest Steven Whitaker) was born on July 15, 1961 in Longview, Texas, U.S..He is an Academy Award-, Golden Globe-, and Emmy-winning American actor, producer, and director.

Biography and Career :
He has done several other movies such as: "Vision Quest", "The Color of Money", "Smoke" and "Panic Room".
Besides his acting career he has also produced many other movies like,"First Daughter", "Ripple Effect", "American Gun" and "Kassim the Dream".
He has won many awards including Oscar award in 2007 for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.

He is famous for his role in "The Panic Room" along with Jodie Foster.
