Martinez has acted in many TV serials such as: "Maria Bonita", "Divorciada", "Leche" and "Ley del silencio, La", and also acted in many movies like, "The Secret Lives of Dentists" and "Downtown: A Street Tale".
She has won the Best Actress award from Biarritz International Festival of Latin American Cinema for her role in "Soplo de vida".
Martinez won the Best Latin American Actress for her movie " Rosario Tijeras ".
