Field Adrianus Cate is a famous American actor born on 22 July 1997 in Burlington, Vermont. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Field Cate comes from a family of generations of entertainers.

He and his family moved to Hollywood shortly before his fifth birthday. Field joined improvisation classes in L.A as he already had some experience in a number of children's theater productions. Field started performing weekly on stage. A year later, he turned his love of acting into a professional career. He soon got offers for dramatic roles on television
and was nominated for Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance in a TV Series - Young Actor Ten or Under for the tv series "Pushing Daisies" (2007)

Why is he famous?

He is best known to date for hi s series-regular role playing Young Ned on the drama Pushing Daisies. Cate also appeared in Placebo's video clip of "Song to Say Goodbye".
