Eriko Sato is a Japanese actress and model.She was born December 19, 1981 in Tokyo, Japan.Eriko is one of Japan's most versatile celebrities, having modeled for magazines, appeared in TV commercials (currently for Unicharm's "SOFY," Warner Music Japan's "Lovely" and Asahi Breweries' "SOKAN"), TV dramas, variety shows, movies and theater.
When Eriko was in her first year of junior high school, the Great Hanshin Earthquake hit near her home in Kobe. After hearing the news reporters on Kiss-FM talking about it, she was struck with admiration and decided she wanted to enter the entertainment world. She was a campaign girl for Oiso Long Beach in 1999 and then was scouted by a talent agency.
She has starred in many movies and television episodes including

eason (2007),Carved (2007), Funuke Domo, Kanashimi no Ai wo Misero (2007),Japan Sinks (2006)
and Cutie Honey (2004). In January 2005, Eriko realized her dream by becoming the main newscaster for a news special on the ten year anniversary of the Great Hanshin Earthquake she had experienced.
