Yes I believe Eric Schweig should be famous without a doubt. He is a beautiful, compassionate, intelligent man with a strong and enduring spirit. He has a calling to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. He knows his mission in life and thats a good thing, because most of us don't know. He is a talented actor it just comes natual to him. I hope to see more of him in the theaters. What can I say I just admire him so much with his accomplishments.

To think someone "deserves" to be famous is an odd question to me. Knowing the tidbits about Eric's life, as through these sights tells me that although blunt and opinionated, he appears to be a well versed, rounded and grounded man. He is an intense actor who is very selective with what he chooses to do or endorse and that seems to be the underlying reason for all the rediculous scutiny. He has many passions that's clear and finding time for all is probably his biggest challenge. Being a fellow Canadian, I have begun to educate myself on many issues regarding Native peoples here and for this awareness, however small I feel it is...I am grateful to him for it. I wish for him continued health, peace and lots of laughter in his life and would only hope at one point to meet him, to say that from a woman he will probably never know..his life matters, ...he makes other lives matter.
So to the question, Yes, we need to always admire those who choose to step up in a quiet way, to deserve to be famous? I will give him much more credit than that...R

He is a talented actor and carver of traditional Inuit masks. Edgy individual who's not afraid to speak his mind and volunteers his time to the street outreach programs for young people in Canada. Just rec'd an
honorary award from Nipissing University for his
compassionate work.
