Eric Clapton (born in 1945) is a English blues and rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter.
Short Biography:
Originally a blues purist, then one of the pioneers of heavy rock with Cream 1966-1968, he returned to the blues after making the landmark album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs in 1970 by Derek and the Dominos.
Why is Eric Clapton famous?
Solo albums include Journeyman in 1989 and the acoustic Unplugged in 1992, for which he received six Grammy awards in 1993.
