Eminem (real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III) was born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri, U.S. His mother, Debbie Mathers was eighteen at the time of his birth and his father's age was unkown. He is an Oscar and multiple Grammy Award winning rapper, record producer, and actor.
Biography and Career :
Debbie and Marshall Bruce Mathers II, Eminem's father, were having hard times during their marriage since both were very young. When Eminem was just six months, his father walked out on him, leaving him with his problamatic mother.He had a hard life after that. Bouncing around in Michigan left it hard for him to make friends in school, graduate, and stay out of trouble.
Finally, when Eminem was 12, he rested in Detroit. He went Dort Elementary School in Roseville, Mich
igan, Osborne Middle School, and Lincoln High Scool in Warren, Michigan.School wasn't excatly the best place for Eminem. He was in 9th grade three times, basically for skipping school to go battle, and he was a little "nerdy."
Eminem met Kim when she was a true freshman and he was in 9th grade again. Kim and her twin sister, Dawn, were also froma troubled background. Living in and out of children's homes and usually running away after a while made it hard for Kim. Eminem met Kim when he skipped school with a friend. The friend's sister knew Kim, and Kim had also skipped school.The sister introduced them to each other and they hit it off. They dropped school together and in 1995 had a daughter, Hailie Jade Scott.
In 1999, Eminem released the Slim Shady LP which included the number one hit, "My Name Is.." In it's first week, the album debuted at No.2. Eminem was a success. About a year and a half later, the Marshall Mather LP was relased, making rap history with 1.7 million copies sold in the first week. MMLP became the fastest selling rap album ever. Though trouble was soon ahead.
March 2, 2001, Eminem filed for divorce after a reconcliation in August. He asked for joint custody of Hailie. A "breakdown in the marriage" was filed on the record. Eminem was joint physical custody of his daughter.
On April 10, 2001, Eminem pulled a gun on an ICP associte and later that day, pulled a gun on John Guerra who he saw kissing his wife out Hot Rocks cafe. He lost his temper and was said to be pistol whipping the man. Eminem had been on a short fuse for a while. He was later brought down to court on weapons charges which he recieved three years probabtion for in all.
The Eminem Show was just released May 26th 2002 and was number 1 on the Billboard according to Soundscan. The first day that it was released it was also #1. Which also makes history again!

Eminem's music is Inspiring to me, I feel like there is alot of reality in his lyrics and I like that. He rocks. I beleive that he's come along way in his life, like some of us in this world that have struggled and that still are. Proud

Marshall is the coolest guy ever! Not only because he's a white rapper but because he's a perfect dad as well. And yes sometimes he does'nt get a lot of time to spend with her but he will make up for it eventualy.
Marshall is a tipe of guy that will die for his daughter!! He loves that girl to pieces. I have so much respect for him that I listen to his songs each time something goes wrong in my life and everytime he has given me a answer through one of his songs that makes everything seem to be okay.
I just want to thank him for everything he have done for me. You are truelly blessed!!!
