I met Ellie some time ago when working in the Estates Department at SAG. To be honest, I don't know if she's still with us, but I think not because back then she was having serious health issues. She was a wonderful woman. You list her as an amorous encounter of David Janssen. She was not an encounter she was his wife for some time. Although I only met her in her later years, after her divorce and years after David's passing, she was kind and still a striking woman. From the pictures I saw of her in her youth she clearly could have been mistaken for Ava Gardner... No wonder Sinatra was smitten with her. Back then I also dealt with Janssen's widow, the woman he married after Ellie ... I never met her, we only spoke on the phone a few times... it made me think the man was a fool. |
