Edward Bulwer-Lytton Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Baron Lytton (1803-1873) was a English writer.

Short Biography:

His novels successfully followed every turn of the public taste and include the Byronic Pelham in 1828, The Last Days of Pompeii (1834), and Rienzi (1835).

His plays include Richelieu in 1838. He was Colonial Secretary (1858-1859).
