Edmund Gustav Albrecht Husseri (1859-1938) was a German philospher, regarded as the founder of phenomenoloy, a philosophy concentrating on what is consciously experienced.
Short Biography:
He hoped phenomenology would become the science of all sciences. His main works are Logical Investigations (1900), Phenomenological Philosophy (1913), and The Crisis of the European Sciences (1936).
He influenced Heidegger, and was influential in sociology through the work of Alfred Schutz (1899-1959).
