Drea de Matteo (full name Andrea Donna "Drea" de Matteo) was born on January 19, 1972. She is an Emmy-winning American actress. Drea de Matteo Height : 5'6"/ 168 cm.
Biography and Career :
Drea de Matteo studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, originally hoping to become a director, not an actress. Her role in The Sopranos was one of her earliest, helping to launch her career. Drea de Matteo has also appeared in several films including Swordfish, Deuces Wild, and the 2005 remake of John Carpenter's 1976 action film Assault on Precinct 13.
Most famous for her roles as Adriana La Cerva on the HBO TV series The Sopranos and as Joey Tribbiani's sister Gina on the NBC sitcom Joey.

In 2004, Drea de Matteo won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress (Drama) for her role as ill-fated Adriana on The Sopranos. Drea de Matteo was also nominated for a Golden Globe that same year for the same role.
Drea de Matteo describes herself as shy, she also says she was and remains a wild, multi-tattooed party-girl who peppers her conversation with strong language and prefers jeans to dressing up. Drea de Matteo owned a rock and roll vintage clothing store in the East Village called "Filth Mart" for several years but has closed it and is considering re-opening it in the Los Angeles area. Drea de Matteo has said that she considers actor Vince Vaughn to be like a brother to her.
Drea de Matteo currently lives in New York City, where she also formerly owned Filth Mart, an East Village clothing store, with best friend and ex-boyfriend Michael Sportes. Drea de Matteo is currently dating Shooter Jennings, son of country music legend Waylon Jennings (1937-2002). De Matteo also said that while she dates men, she has had sex with women.
