Dorothee Wirth was born on March 23, 1970 in Germany and she is a famous luxury fashion designer.
Biography and Career:
She received her first fashion award at the age of 18 years. She won the regional Aenne –Burda Prize and the second prize at the European Aenne-Burda Prize in Germany, Burda fashion magazine. After graduating from high school of economics, she finished a high- fashion apprenticeship, learned drawing at the academy of art in Italy, studied fashion design in Germany and worked for a french
Haute Couture house in Paris, France.
Dorothee presented her first Haute Couture collection among the world leading top fashion designers like P. Rabanne, K. Féraud, M. Burani ....... She was the official German representative at the Guinness Book of World Records Lo
ngest Fashion Runway in the World in Berlin.
At the age of 28 Dorothee was choosen to represent Germany at the first German Consumer Goods Exposition in Shanghai. It was organized by the German Ministry of Economics and Dorothee met the political delegation as well she welcomed the mayoress of Shanghai. She presented her Haute Couture collection in a daily fashion show five days.
Dorothee Wirth has publications in international high fashion magazines.
Beside her career as a fashion designer she worked as a model and went to an acting school. She was acting in movies in Hamburg and Paris. One French movie was shown at international film festivals as well in Cannes. Dorothee presented her own creations on the catwalk and at photo shootings which she continues doing till this date.
